How it works: For every order we receive, a formula is used to calculate estimated shipping emissions. Based on those estimates, a portion of our revenue goes to carbon removal companies that have been assessed by Carbon Direct scientists. These companies use those funds to remove the amount of carbon generated by our shipments. Any extra funds go toward developing carbon removal technologies.

Heirloom's direct air capture technology improves the carbon mineralization process. Heirloom's technology accelerates the rate at which natural minerals capture CO₂ instead of using energy-intensive fans to suck in air.

Remora

Remora captures CO₂ from the exhaust pipes of trucks as they drive, allocating the CO₂ for long-term storage.

Charm

Charm captures CO₂ using plant waste, converts it into a stable, carbon-rich liquid, and stores it safely underground, away from fires and soil erosion.
